Macintosh Connectivity, Another Step

I managed to connect my Macintosh SE to one of my PCs today.

The PC is running Ubuntu 13.10 and I used a cable from MacLink, which I believe is a null modem cable.  I have purchased a couple of copies of MacLink and the disks have been unuseable.

On the PC I installed minicom 2.6.2 which I found through the Ubuntu Software Center.  It is a command line program, so you have to run it from a terminal window.  I used:

minicom -s

which starts the program and lets you change the settings

The Macintosh SE is running OS 6.0.8 and ZTerm 0.9

I downloaded several files from MacGui and transferred them from my PC to my Mac SE.  Once there I was able to unpack them with Stuffit Expander 4.0.1.  I was also able to transfer a couple of text files from the Mac to the PC and open them.
