My Current Apple //c
Here is my Apple //c. It is actually the third one I’ve had.
It is a ROM 3, Apple //c, which lets me use the 2-3 1/2″ diskette drives in addition to my internal and external 5 1/4″ floppy drives.
The first one I bought new in December of 1984. I used that one for years and then stored it for years in a basement closet. I think it went crazy from loneliness, because when I’ve tried to get it to start, all that comes out is gibberish. While it was stored the monitor fell off shelf in the closet and cracked, so I replaced it with this monitor.
The next Apple //c, I’ve bought, didn’t survive shipping. It showed up in a crushed box and the corner of the Apple //c was shattered. That was how I got this one, they replaced the broken one with it.
