The New Apple II User’s Guide by David Finnigan.
My copy came in from Amazon almost a week ago. I haven’t had time to read it, just skim through it.
My first impression is, it’s a huge paperback, 774 pages. It measures roughly 6 1/2″ wide by 9 1/2″ high by almost 2″ thick. You book someone with this puppy and they are going down. The size makes it roomy enough to use an easily readable type size. It has quite a few clear black and white photos and lots of examples.
It has twelve chapters. The first two chapters are about the machine itself and setting it up. Chapters 3 through 9 are about programming in basic. The final three chapters are on Networking, Machine Language Monitor and the IIGS and the GS/OS.
It has nine appendices, a glossary and an index, which I will cover later.
