Mapper, Debugging

I spent some time working on Mapper, starting on the debugging process.

I figured the best way, was to actually use it.  I chose to put the map from Eamon’s The Beginners Cave into the Mapper.

I started finding problems right off.

• Forgot to print Up and Down on the Print Map.

When editing a room:

• The name is erased shortly after starting the edit.  Have to fix it so it stays.
• Using the the letters of the alphabet to select directions is tedious.  I’m going to have to rework it to use directions.
