Z-Machine Interpreter

Awhile ago I was looking for a z-machine interpreter for the Apple II. As far as I can tell none exist on their own.

There were three that I found, two were for the Apple //gs, but the third was for the Apple //e or //c. The third is not actually an interpreter.

Apple II InfocomPro was the third. I read the information provided with it, but I may have misunderstood it. The way I understood it InfocomPro is used to strip the interpreter from an existing Infocom game so you can move the game files to bigger prodos volumes, like a 3 1/2 diskette or a hard drive. The way I understood it was it was for Infocom games only. Upon further thought I’m wondering if it will work with inform games also.

Today I read the instructions again and InfocomPro requires a specific version of an Infocom game to strip out its interpreter. That was my project today, I went looking for that version so I could test it out. This involved finding a disk image online, downloading it and booting it up to check the version. So far, no luck.
