Yesterday, I changed some settings to cut down on spam. I went from over 100 comments that were spam to one so far tonight. This is going to be a big time and frustration saver for me. Most of the spam comments were quite obvious just to a quick look, but it still took up time. The thing that bugged me, was most seemed to lack any point in the first place.
If anyone has any comments and can not add them in the usual way, send a message to dailyapple through macgui.com or to the email address on the contact page.
The usenet seems even quieter than last week. I, myself, am taking a night off from my trusty Apple //c. I just wanted to put in a quick update about the changes.
I had the same issue on my a2hq blog, wonder why we cant get a Akismet setup going, it does pretty well as I had to shut off comments
Are you able to set up Askimet in your admin panel?
I don’t see that anywhere in the settings.
