I found a place through Amazon that sells tractor feed paper. They have a package of 1000 pages for around $20, so I ordered that today.
With the paper and ribbons ordered, I’m looking forward to being able to print from not only my Apple II’s, but my Mac’s.
Once I can print out listings I hope to be able to insert actual scans of listings into posts.
A program that I used when my Apple //c was my primary computer was Print Shop by Broderbund, so I went online to look for it. It was available under graphics on the Asimov ftp site, along with the Print Shop Companion, and a bunch of graphics and fonts Libraries.
Broderbund had some other graphics programs that I used, including Fantavision for making animated movies and Dazzle Draw for drawing pictures. Both are available from Asimov.

For any serious programming on the Apple, printing out listings is going to be helpful.
Definitely, There is only so much you can do to keep code in screen sized chunks.
I’ve found that for me, programming, by its very nature requires a hard copy. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve solved a programming problem just by looking at the flow of the program on the hard copy.
