Apple //c as a Terminal, Part 2A

I put my Windows laptop into the docking station and tried Putty.  I feel silly I didn’t think of it sooner.  My thanks to Osgeld  who reminded me.  I have it on all of my PC’s, but use it for something else.

The basic setup was pretty easy just choose a serial connection and open it.  The default connection was 9600 8n1.  I loaded up ZLink on the Apple //c and changed the data word and the connection was made.  It is a simple connection that just lets you type back and forth.

I think I need some old style communications software instead of Putty, so I can upload or download files.  Maybe then I can write my posts on the Apple //c.
