Today I didn’t get much done on my Apples. I worked my seventh day in a row, came home and took a nap.
I tried to order some diskettes and ended up buying a ten pack through eBay. I should have them some time next week.
I spent almost half an hour on the phone with my cable company, trying to square away my internet connection. The modem three or four times a day, just resets, disconnecting everything until it finishes the reset.
Tomorrow, I have a day off. I think I’ll try hooking my Apple //c to my 32″ lcd tv and maybe play some games.
I read a 2007 posting by Paul Weinstein who connected his Apple //c to his Mac mini and used the //c as a terminal. I think that if I have time to give that a try, I will. I have two IBM T60 laptops. One is a 14″ and runs Windows 7 and the other is a 15″ and runs Ubuntu Linux. The Windows 7 machine pretty much lives in a docking station on my desktop. (As a side note, I took this laptop to the laundry room in my complex and wrote yesterdays post. Had just one bar on my wireless.)
The docking station is connected to my Apple //c and I run ADTPro on the laptop. Physically I should just be able to switch laptops to try running the //c as a terminal for my Linux machine.
