IFComp Entry

Having a little less than two months to put together my entry for IFComp, I once again went looking for an Inform set up that would run on an Apple II.  I still didn’t find anything.

I was hoping to find something that would work, so I don’t have to re-invent the wheel.  I don’t know Inform, but I’ll have to spend time either writing a system or learning one.  Quite honestly, from what I have seen of the source code for inform tutorials, it might just be too steep a learning curve for me in the given time.

I have played around with TADS 2 under Windows and if there was something like that on the Apple II that would be awesome.

I have played Eamon games and enjoyed them.  I’ve looked at the source for them as well.  Over the years, I’ve thought of writing an Eamon adventure, but never did.  I went so far as to print out the Eamon programs, punch them, and put them in a notebook, including the line by line explanation of the main program.

Well I’m still looking, and starting from scratch is still on the board.
